Dear Woodchuck, It is always good to hear from the old-timers and it is right to honor your elders, even when they are wrong (from the way you write, I\'m assuming that you are my elder). Immigration is a interesting thing, the basis of America\'s growth and greatness. I imagine that the American Indians had much the same opinion of immigrants as you do.

Regarding the comment on R. Samuelson and the healthcare debate I offer this fact. I just retired and the cost of healthcare for me and mywife from Medicare and a retirement plan as second insurance went up 159.7%. Is that taking care of our senior citizens who are on a fixed income?

It is interesting to note that the State is spot-repairing 105/5 and 111 in Derby, roads that would have been completely redone, if the Legislature had worked to get the stimulus money as Governor Douglas begged, instead of frittering away the opportunity by debating same-sex marriage.
